Record rainfall

Published October 17, 2009

Clarksville holds the record rainfall for the state. (See Texas Almanac 2006-2007 page 123). In 1873, Clarksville had 109.38 inches. With three months to go Paris may beat this.

I predict a cold and wet winter with an early frost. There will be snow and ice between the middle of January to the middle of February. The cedar trees are loaded with blue berries.
