Thursday night wreck kills one

A woman was killed in a car accident at Bonham Street and Loop 286 about 10 p.m. Thursday night, according to Matt Birch, Paris Police Department public information officer.
Amber Bryan, 23, of Paris was killed when a white Ford Fusion travelling eastbound struck Bryan’s westbound Ford Thunderbird as it turned south onto the Southwest loop entrance ramp.
The driver of the Ford Fusion, Rodney Johnson of Paris, was transported to Paris Regional Medical Center with injuries.
“As with all fatal accidents, blood specimens were taken from both drivers involved, and results are pending,” Birch said. “The crash is under investigation and the exact cause is unknown at this time.”
