I am a 26-year old mother of three and I’m curious about why the families in Lamar County are struggling to make ends meet, but North Lamar gets approved for a $75,000 grant to widen Stillhouse Road and that’s only the first phase. They have had more than enough money in the past to do this little project, but they built an indoor practice field instead. So I ask again why are so many families in Lamar County struggling?
